You’ll want to get here EARLY! The line gets long quick, plus the animals are way more into snacks first thing in the morning. By the end of the day they are already full!
At the front they give you an option of how many loaves of bread you want. We went with 5 which was more than ample for the two of us.
You might think that llamas wouldn’t put their head right into your car. You would be wrong.
Elk have trouble fitting their antlers in your car – but that won’t stop them from trying. Make sure to keep moving!
Gentle, but quite determined. These guys also drool. Consider bringing a change of clothes or covering yourself with a towel.
Yaks will also go right in for the bread. This guy not surprisingly hooked his horn inside the car for a moment. Yikes!
Fallow deer have mastered eating on the run.
It appeared our entrance was blocked – but they did move – slowly. Not pictured to our left and right were American Bison! They are HUGE! And so big that we were too scared to try to stop and take pictures. But go experience it for yourself!
