A privately owned entrance to the underwater spring fed by the Florida Aquifer. Costs $25 to enter to dive. There are hot showers, a dive shop, and a “snack shop” with cookout type food (burgers and the like). The water is 68 °F year round, so a 5 mm wetsuit minimum is recommended for diving. In the center, about 30 feet down is a sunken sailboat. A cave system is accessible here, except that it has been sealed off with a gate about 300′ down to prevent divers from entering. There is an interesting story about the disappearance of Ben McDaniel associated with the site.
