Washington Park
This park is a small peninsula just a short drive from Anacortes. There is a scenic drive that loops around the edge and offers places to pull off your car to get views or picnic. Walking trails also wrap around and thru the park.
It’s about 2 miles to walk around the edge of the park.
The perimeter trail offers great views all around the park.
You have to share the road with cars and bikes on the scenic loop trail, but everybody seems to be pretty cordial.
Alternatively, venture off the road to find your own views.
